Adventurous Waterfall Elopement at Silver Falls State Park, Oregon

Have you been dreaming about eloping at a gorgeous waterfall location? Silver Falls State Park may be the perfect location of you! Surrounded by forest, this state park offers many trails and you have the opportunity to see multiple waterfalls. This specific waterfall where P + E eloped was South Falls which is a 177 foot waterfall you can actually walk behind of! This waterfall starts the Trail of Ten Falls which is exactly that, a 7.2 mile loop trail that passes through 10 beautiful waterfalls that are all a little different but equally breathtaking.

Paola + Eduardo’s Intimate Elopement Ceremony at South Falls

It was so special being to witness P + E’s love this day. Although they had a wedding planned for the following year, these two just could not wait to get married and decided to have a small, intimate elopement ceremony accompanied by their immediate family. This whole day was an absolute dream. Their day started getting ready at a nearby hotel and then heading to Silver Falls State Park for their first look before their ceremony.

Before they arrived, I hiked down to South Falls waterfall to scout for the perfect spot for their first look. I took some time to get some detail shots of each of them before they had their first moment together of the day. They were both filled with excitement and nerves. Eduardo’s reaction when he first saw Paola was so freaken cute. He had the biggest grin on his face as she twirled to show him her dress.

Their intimate ceremony was at a spot surrounded by trees and overlooking the waterfall. Paola’s dad was able to be the one to marry them which is so special. They interchanged vows which had everyone holding back tears. They had been dreaming about this moment for years and it was finally happening.

After the ceremony, these two snuck off to adventure close to the waterfall. One thing about me is that I love getting shots of my couples IN water. I don’t know what it is about water, but give me a lake, waterfall or beach- you’re going in. These two were all for it! They really just soaked in the moment and it was magic. We stayed till after dark just having fun and ended the night with a delicious dinner at Olive Garden with everyone!
